frequently asked questions

Pilates classes focus on strength, muscle toning, body control, and flexibility, with the main emphasis being core strength.

Yoga improves flexibility, balance and strength, in addition to the possibility of going upside down in inversions or arm balances. Both practices focus on breath, alignment, balance, strength and flexibility.

Yoga is also more of a mental workout and Pilates more physical.

Both practices are extremely complementary and many people choose to do both, enjoying the benefits of a long lean body and a clear mind free from stress.

Strengthening your core in Pilates will give you better balance in yoga; while increasing your flexibility in yoga will enable you to go deeper in Pilates. Get too flexible without the strength to support it and you might get injured; develop a lot of strength without taking the time to stretch, and you’ll also set yourself up for problems. Where Pilates draws in, yoga opens up, it’s a balance.

We currently have two different Introductory offers available for first timers:

  • 4 Group Mat Classes for RM99
  • 4 Group Reformer Classes for RM179

Each package can only be purchased once per client.

We do not offer free trials.

All of our classes are designed to be accessible to all levels of experience, however we do offer a few beginner friendly classes to kick you off!

If it is your first time practicing yoga, we recommend attending one of our Flow Foundations or Chill Flow classes.

If it is your first Reformer Pilates class, we recommend attending the Reformer Align class.

We encourage you to come to as many classes as frequently as you can to start to see the benefits more quickly. In all of our classes, you are more than welcome to rest whenever you feel like, take each class at your own pace, and re-join the class at your leisure.

Be on time

Arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the commencement of class as late admittance is disruptive and we will not allow entry into class post the 5 minutes grace period.

Check In

Please check-in in with our friendly reception desk before all classes (let them know if you’re attending a back-to-back class).

Get Unplugged

Give yourself a much deserved break. No personal belongings in the reformer & mat room other than water and towels. All bags must be placed in lockers including mobile phones. Please ensure they are on silent mode before being placed in lockers. If you would like to take pictures please do so before or after class.

Stay till the end

Please stay through the end of every class and allow it to work it’s magic. If you absolutely must leave early, please let your instructor know prior to class commencing and they will let you know when it is appropriate to leave to avoid disrupting others.

We highly recommend that you create an account with us and book into your preferred class prior to attending.

As we only have a limited number of spots per class, booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment if a class is fully booked when you turn up.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the commencement of your class – not only will you not miss your class, but you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea with us or chill out in our lounge.

Please note that we have a 5 minute lock out policy for latecomers.

Please bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable, light clothing that moves with your body. If you are taking a Reformer Pilates class please bring some Grip Socks with you. If you don’t have any, they can be purchased in studio.

We want you to arrive light and leave feeling even lighter so we provide everything else – top quality Lululemon mats, blocks, straps and bolsters for your class. We also provide fully equipped shower facilities including towels, hair ties, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, hair straighteners & even dry shampoo – so you can flow right into your day after class. You’re also welcome to enjoy a complimentary cup of tea before and after class.

We pride ourselves on attention to detail and aim to provide everything you need to make every practice you have with us as seamless as possible.

As we are an independent studio with a limited number of spots per class, other people miss out on practicing if you don’t turn up. We request that our clients cancel at least 12 hours in advance of the class via our website.

If you do not attend a booked class or cancel with less than 12 hours to the commencement of class, you will lose your class credit or be charged a RM20 fee.

Yes, we have both on-street and private parking (directly in front of our studio and across the road) at our Bangsar studio however it is limited and can get busy depending on the time of day.

We strongly suggest you arrive early so you can get a park as we will lock the doors 5 minutes after the commencement of class!

If you are parking on-street, please be considerate to our neighbours – we do not like to block them from their homes 🙂

If you do have an injury we recommend that you get the all clear from your doctor/healthcare practitioner before attending any of our classes.

Before each class your teacher will ask if anyone has any injuries, or you can let us know at front desk when checking in. Our teachers will advise you of suitable modifications.

But most importantly – please listen to your own body and take necessary precautions including rest if needed.

If you are pregnant we recommend that you check with your doctor/healthcare practitioner before attending any of our classes.

Please note that practicing is at your own risk and it’s your responsibility to practice the modifications with caution.
