SO YOU WANNA WORK ON YOUR CHATURANGA? 🤔 Getting your chaturanga right sets a solid foundation for you to nail almost all arm balances and flow through that vinyasa jumpback seamlessly! 🌊 Here are some drills from @edwardcyh to help you in your practice! ✨

1️⃣ Plank for 10s, tilt forward for 5s 
[Repeat for 5 sets]

2️⃣ Chaturanga hold for 3s, and push up 
[Repeat for 3 sets, 8 to 10 reps each]

3️⃣ 10s descend to Chaturanga
[Repeat for 3 sets, 8 to 10 reps each]

4️⃣ Modified baby cobra to plank 
[Repeat for 3 sets, 5 to 8 reps each]

Pss. remember to stretch out your wrists in between sets 👐🏼

Sometimes it’s good to take it easy and show some love to our joints, bones and ligaments with some yin. Poses are held for longer periods of time to target the body’s connective tissues, rather than muscle groups. These long static holds create space for our muscles to lengthen more in yang practices and our joints to enjoy increased range of motion.
