the practice.

What's the difference between Yoga & Pilates?

pilates classes focus on strength, muscle toning, body control, and flexibility, with the main emphasis being core strength.

yoga improves flexibility, balance and strength, in addition to the possibility of going upside down in inversions or arm balances. both practices focus on breath, alignment, balance, strength and flexibility.

yoga is also more of a mental workout and Pilates more physical.

both practices are extremely complementary and many people choose to do both, enjoying the benefits of a long lean body and a clear mind free from stress.

strengthening your core in pilates will give you better balance in yoga; while increasing your flexibility in yoga will enable you to go deeper in pilates. get too flexible without the strength to support it and you might get injured; develop a lot of strength without taking the time to stretch, and you’ll also set yourself up for problems. where pilates draws in, yoga opens up, it’s a balance.

class bookings.

how can I book into a class?

once you have purchased an introductory offer, drop-in class, class pack or unlimited membership, you can proceed to book into your preferred class using the Schedule on our website or Flow Studio App.

you can download our Flow Studio App on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

as we only have a limited number of spots per class, we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment if a class is fully booked when you turn up.

what do ‘W’ and ‘S’ mean next to the classes on the schedule?

classes that have the ‘W’ icon next to them are on waitlist. this means that all spots have been booked out but you can jump on the waitlist and be notified at least 12 hours prior to class if a spot opens up.

classes that have the ‘S’ icon next to them mean that they are being taught by a substitute instructor filling in for the instructor who typically teaches that slot.

the class I want is fully booked. What do I do?

we recommend jumping on the waitlist if a class is full, as spots generally open up closer to the date.

these classes have the ‘W’ icon next to them. if a slot becomes available, you will receive an email confirmation 12 hours before class.

i booked the wrong class. Can I cancel or get a refund?

we have a strict 12-hour cancellation policy for our group classes.

if you can’t make your class, it is your responsibility to cancel or let us know at least 12 hours before the start time of your scheduled class or you will lose the session. we understand life happens, but we need to be fair to all clients.

to cancel a class, go to my accounts > my classes.

what is your late cancellation and No-Show policy?

as we have limited number of spots per class, other people miss out on practicing if you don’t turn up. we request that our clients cancel at least 12 hours in advance of the class via our website

if you do not attend a booked class or cancel within less than 12 hours to the commencement of class, you will lose your class credit or be charged a RM20 fee.

what is the studio etiquette at The Flow Studio?

be on time

arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the commencement of class as late admittance is disruptive and
we will not allow entry into class once class has started.

if you are booked in using a studio package but arrived at the studio late, we may be able to book you
into another class on the same day if there are available spots. this does not apply to ClassPass as we
do not have control over bookings made on ClassPass.
