about

After a very balancing and opening Yin Yoga class, this immersion provides in-depth information and personal experience of Yoga Nidra, a transformative technique.

Day by day, you will see how old baggage and repetitive thinking patterns affect your life, health and wellbeing. With intention and tools of Yoga Nidra you will learn how to use this simple sleep-based meditation technique to profoundly heal and restore the body’s reserves creating a body and brain with greater resilience to stress-producing situations.

Seated meditation can be frustrating—trying to clear the mind, bring awareness back to the breath, or find inspiration for focusing. Yoga Nidra is always guided, so there is no intense thinking or wondering why you are staring at a blank wall. A Yoga Nidra practice can be as short as five minutes and as long as an hour and can be done by anyone, no experience is needed. It is not a physical practice, you can do it laying down or sitting.

Yoga Nidra offers a space to explore what you need in the moment, as well as an opportunity to work on releasing long-held emotions.

From this workshop you will:

– boost the body’s natural healing potential

– release chronic tension

– pay off sleep debt and learn skills to master the demands of life.

– gain intuitive perspective into life transitions and challenges.

– promote deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice or even sleep

Attendees will get a 30 mins audio Yoga Nidra practice to continue their practice.

Please bring a blanket, pillow and a journal. We will have bolster and some blankets but you’ll want to make yourself as comfortable as possible.
