pinktober flow with pantai hospital

October 2024

In conjunction with Pinktober, The Flow Studio is proud to partner with Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur to raise awareness for breast cancer. Join us for a day of learning, sharing and supporting women’s health with an informative talk by PHKL’s respected oncologist, Dr. Nur Fadhlina, as she shares insights into breast cancer, the leading cause of cancer among women worldwide. Guided by experts from PHKL’s Breast Centre, you’ll also gain practical knowledge on self-examination techniques and how early detection saves lives. You will also experience our signature Flow Slow class to wind down for the day.

Research indicates that there are real benefits to regularly practising yoga after a diagnosis, with benefits such as:

  • improved emotional wellbeing
  • reducing cancer-related fatigue and pain
  • improved circulation & bone strength
  • lower stress and anxiety
  • improve quality of sleep
  • develop a sense of community and support

Come dressed in pink to celebrate and raise awareness for Breast Cancer this October! Together, we can break the stigma, embrace awareness, and uplift each another with the tools and knowledge to empower women. Learn how modern compassionate treatments are transforming lives, helping women not just survive but thrive after a diagnosis!
